Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with GeoModes courses and services. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with a course or service, you can request a refund provided the request meets the guidelines within our Refund Policy. Certain restrictions may apply. Our 14 day policy

Our 14 refund policy allows our participants to learn risk free, however we must also provide our Instructors with a guaranteed payment plan and protect them from fraud. Payments are sent to Instructors within 14 days of a course being completed or a service is booked. For this reason, any refund requests made after this period will not be processed. Please note this does not apply to any courses or services that are cancelled by the Instructor or GeoModes. In these circumstances a full refund will be provided unless a suitable alternative date is offered.

Reasons for a denied refund

In addition to the above, we reserve the right to limit or deny a refund request in circumstances where we consider the may be abuse of our refund policy. Such circumstances include but are not limited to:
  • A significant portion of the course or services have been attended or used and/or course content has been downloaded, before a refund has been requested
  • Multiple refunds have been requested by a participant for the same course and/or services
  • Excessive refunds have been requested by the same participant
  • Participants who have violated our Terms and Conditions
  • Subscription services are non-refundable.
These refund restrictions will be applied as is permissible by law.

Third party purchases

If a participant purchases a courses via a third party, the payment will be processed by a third-party vendor and we will not hold the transaction details to process a refund. Please contact the third party directly and request a refund. This policy was reviewed and updated on 7 February 2021
